What Really Happens During Meditation [Cartoon] - Part 2

  1. I enjoy your realism

When I began meditating back in the late 1980's I recall people saying that you had to force the concentration and clarity and a lot of people I knew gave up because they found themselves lacking in some way because they couldn't live up to some unobtainable standard.

  2. Thanks for stopping by to comment, John!

Yeah, there seems to be a faulty perception that meditation should feel like lifting weights or training for a marathon, when really it's more like observing a toddler. The goal isn't to try to change anything; it's just to get to know your mind's quirks and antics.

Take good care, my friend, and thanks again for stopping in. Your visits are always welcome. :-)
